A bug that feeds on the sap from young Eucalyptus shoots and can cause wilting in younger plants particularly if the bugs are present in larger numbers.

Identification

The adult bug is dark brown to black in colour and features a short spine on each shoulder the nymphs are brighter in colour with yellow to orange and blacks.
