Venomous:Dangerously venomous and bite can be fatal
Body light grey to red-brown, pale white-yellow to pink-orange underneath. Lips with faint vertical stripes. Lowland Copperheads feed on frogs, lizards and small mammals. Females give birth to up to 30 live young in mid to late summer.
