One of the species that has been commerciall harvested intially in the early 1960's for bait but in 1980 was sold in fish markets for human consumption as clams.

Identification

This species has a solid shell the features ribbed growth lines the colour can varied from creams to browns and can also feature a zigzag or blotched line patern in the shell.
