Not as common as other limpets around Tomahawk coastal area it can be found from time to time washed up along Tomahawk Beach and subtidaly under or on rocks

Identification

An oval conical shaped shell that has its apex off centre it features twenty or more ribs that are often scaly it is coloured orange to brown whilst younger specimen can be paler with dark radial stripes.
